Sarah & Finn's is based at Peace and Plenty, the family home at Gwynver in Cornwall. The house is situated at the top of Gwynver cliffs about two miles north of Land's End. There is an uninterrupted view across the bay to Cape Cornwall and on a clear day the Isles of Scilly are visible on the horizon. Gwynver's name is thought to be derived from the Cornish for 'White Water'.
The sandy beach is secluded enough to never get really crowded, even in the middle of summer. There is a small car park on the cliffs next to Peace and Plenty and access to the beach is via lots of steps! Alternatively, at low tide you can walk around to Gwynver from the much larger Sennen beach.
Sea conditions can be dangerous and are often suitable for experienced surfers only. Lifeguards patrol the beach between the hours of 10am and 6pm during the summer. Gwynver is a dog-friendly beach and parking is available all year round for £2.00 per vehicle per day.
